Spring has sprung on the Link Road!

The Cloisters Estate received a “highly commended” award in the estates section of the 2006 Tidy Towns Report for Ballincollig. This award was made at the awards ceremony in Oriel House Hotel on Friday 26th January 2007.

Well done everyone!

I just read in the Ballincollig Newsletter (23rd July 2006) that the main judging for the Tidy Town “Estate/Districts” will take place in the week beginning 31st July 2006. Items taken into account by the judges will include:
General Tidiness of the area
Litter
Kerbside Weeds
Maintenance of Green Areas
Planting
Appearance of individual gardens

Do we need to think about this!

We had a successful cleanup this past Saturday. But just as a reminder, due the construction next door, if you see blowing debris, please pick it up, or notify someone in the association who can.
